Streamlining Uniform Distribution During Employee Onboarding

The first day at a new job should be exciting, not frustrating. Yet many employees spend their first morning waiting for someone to find them a uniform that fits.

Collect sizes before day one. During the hiring process, ask for shirt, pant, and shoe sizes. Enter these into your system so everything is ready before the employee arrives.

Prepare standard kits. For each role, define a standard uniform kit. When a new hire is added, you can issue the complete kit in one batch operation.

Use the allowance system to set clear expectations. Each new employee gets a defined number of items per year.

The result: what used to take 30-60 minutes per new hire now takes under 5 minutes. Multiply by your annual hires, and the time savings are substantial.
